Guy – These really look like good short story collections. I would have to pick The Uninnocent by Bradford Morrow as it really looks a good and a more then a little dark.
Thanks for hosting the contest!
There’s a good selection there. The giveaway is a first for me, and you’re the first person to enter.
My first pick is “You and Me and the Devil Makes Three” — but honestly I’d be happy to win any of them. Thanks for hosting this book give-away!
Thanks for entering, Judi.
Wonderful! I enter for the Dubus.
I was wondering when someone would pick this one. Before I wrote the post, I went through all the selections (not just the three) and this was the one that appealed to me.
Great idea to have the giveaway. Andre DuBus’s short stories are among the best ever written, anywhere. My spouse and I have read every one of them, and I am thrilled to see that you are including one of his books here! This Andre Dubus is the FATHER of the contemporary Andre Dubus, and he is a much more careful, considered, controlled writer, just what you want in a short story writer! Mary Whipple (Just a comment, not an entry!)
Thanks Mary. He’d be my pick actually.
Oh, I think I’d go for the Uninnocent please (if I won!)
Thanks Tom, noted.
Giveaway now closed to entries…

Ok: I thought I could copy and paste the results, but I can’t seem to do it.

This makes Caroline and Tom winners! So I will pass along your requests to Open Road media who should be contacting you soon.
Since only four people entered and since this is my first giveaway, I’m going to send the other two entries the book they selected.
Thanks so very much Guy! It was so nice of you to send books to us too! I just received the email from Amazon.
This book looks really good too. It is on my “On Deck” list. I should have it read and a Blog up on it with a month or so.
Thanks a lot Guy, I almost missed this. I’m so systematic I was waiting for a special post… Guess not everyone shares my obsession. Wonderful. Thanks. I’m looking forward to the book.
You should be directly contacted by the very nice people at Open Road Media. Let me know if there’s a problem.
